2015 Alumni Awards honor achievement, loyalty

The Huntingdon College National Alumni Board will honor seven Huntingdon alumni for their professional achievement or loyalty to the College during the annual Alumni Awards Ceremony, Friday, October 2, at 5:00 p.m. in Ligon Chapel, Flowers Hall.

Nine women elected to Homecoming Court

Nine Huntingdon College women—two from each of the freshman, sophomore, and junior classes and three from the senior class—have been elected by their peers to serve on the 2015 Homecoming Court.

Men pledge Greek fraternities

The annual fraternity Rush events at Huntingdon College have concluded for the fall semester 2015, with 42 men accepting bids to three Huntingdon fraternities, Lambda Chi Alpha, Sigma Nu, and Sigma Phi Epsilon.

Women join greek life during Bid Day 2015

Sixty–one Huntingdon College women received bids to enter Panhellenic women’s fraternities during Bid Day, Wednesday, September 09, 2015. Huntingdon’s national women’s fraternities are Alpha Omicron Pi, Chi Omega, and Phi Mu. Campus-wide, about 27 per cent of full-time day students are involved in Greek life while at Huntingdon.

Ability Sport Network offers training for educators

In an effort to increase knowledge, awareness, and competency in disability sport, Huntingdon College’s Ability Sport Network will host training for the Certified Disability Sport Specialist (CDSS) credential through BlazeSports America, Saturday, September 12, at Huntingdon College.

Huntingdon College has once again been named to Washington Monthly magazine’s ranking of top colleges that contribute to the public good, and has been listed once again among the top colleges in the Princeton Review’s Best Southeastern Colleges edition.

Big Red Day of Service sends helping hands across the region

More than 300 new Huntingdon students, faculty and staff served in 13 locations across Montgomery area during the College’s annual Big Red Day of Service, Saturday, August 29.
