Huntingdon Bands host Marching Honor Band

More than 300 high school musicians are expected to join the Huntingdon College Marching Scarlet and Grey for the 2016 Marching Honor Band, Saturday, September 17. The students represent more than 40 high schools in Alabama and Northwest Florida.

Huntingdon named a Best Value college; climbs in U.S. News ranking

Huntingdon College has been named among the top ten Regional Colleges in the South designated as “Best Value” colleges by U.S. News and World Report, and has climbed to the #10 spot in the top tier of Regional Colleges—South rankings in the magazine’s 2017 Best Colleges edition, released today. Huntingdon was ranked at #21 in the top tier of regional colleges in the South in the 2016 edition.

Huntingdon expands Leadership Academy for high school students

Huntingdon College President J. Cameron West announced today the hiring of Sophy Shore to direct an expanded Huntingdon Leadership Academy in 2017. In 2015, the College received a $600,000 grant from Lilly Endowment, Inc., to expand the Huntingdon Leadership Academy, a summer leadership development program for high school students exploring religion and service vocations.

The Huntingdon College Office of Admission will offer two Huntingdon Preview Days this fall: Saturday, September 17, and Saturday, October 8.
