1048 Jazz and Blues Club, 1104 Fairview Avenue—a gathering spot for young alums and those young-at-heart; 1048 is subject to a cover charge at the door.

8:00 a.m.–noon  Huntingdon Prospective Student Preview Day
Is there a high school student in your circle of influence who would be a good fit for Huntingdon? Many of our current students and alumni came to Huntingdon because of the encouragement of a member of our alumni family. Continue the legacy by bringing a high school student to see our beautiful campus and to visit with faculty and students. 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.  Scarlet and Grey Alumni and Friends Tailgate
W. James Samford Jr. Stadium, South End Zone—come join 1,000 of your closest friends in one of the great traditions at Huntingdon: pregame tailgating!  We will greet you at the large tent on the visitors’ side of the football field with plenty of tables and chairs, inflatables to help keep the little Hawks entertained, and a tailgate lunch. Entry into the tailgating area is free; lunch plates are $15.00 (complimentary for Huntingdon Society members) and must be purchased in advance using the Homecoming Reservation Form or online. You will be able to view the Homecoming football game from the tailgating area.

12:30 p.m.  The Hawk Walk
Along Fairview Avenue from the College entrance to W. James Samford Jr. Stadium—from the alumni tailgating area you’ll have great seats to watch the Hawk Walk as the Huntingdon cheerleaders, the Huntingdon Marching Scarlet and Grey, the Homecoming Court, and Hank the Hawk parade down Fairview Avenue to the stadium. The band will stop beside the alumni tent to serenade you with the Huntingdon Fight Song.

1:00 p.m.  Huntingdon Hawks Football vs. Averett University
W. James Samford Jr. Stadiumcheer the Hawks to victory and enjoy the halftime crowning of the 2017 Homecoming Queen.  Former Homecoming Queens and May Queens are invited to participate in the halftime ceremony. Returning Queens, please contact the Alumni Office at (334) 833-4528 or aleigh@hawks.huntingdon.edu for halftime instructions. Tailgate lunch guests will be able to view the game from the tailgating area. For others, stadium seating tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased in advance or at the gate.

2:00 p.m.  Men’s Soccer vs. Averett University
Soccer Field—come see the new soccer field! Admission to the game is free and open to all.

4:30 p.m.  Sorority and Fraternity Open Houses
Information will be provided by individual chapters to Greek alumni.

5:00–6:30 p.m.  Homecoming Happy Hour
The Exchange, Renaissance Hotel, 201 Tallapoosa Street, Downtown Montgomery—gather with your classmates and those from surrounding years to reminisce, remember, and reconnect.

8:00–11:00 p.m.  Huntingdon Homecoming Hangout
The Alley Bar/The Aviator Bar, 166 Commerce Street, Downtown Montgomerydowntown Montgomery is a hub for great restaurants and entertainment spots. After your social time with classmates and dinner with your friends, come to the Alley Bar/The Aviator Bar to enjoy an evening of music and primetime college football games. There will be no cover charge for alumni who present their Alumni Ribbon or their ticket stub from the Huntingdon football game.
