Church Connections

Lenten Luncheon

L–R: AL-WFL Conference Bishop Paul Leeland, The Rev. J. Cameron West, president of the College; North AL Conference Bishop Debra Wallace-Padgett; The Rev. Dr. Karl K. Stegall, president, Stegall Seminary Scholarship Endowment Foundation;  and The Rev. Dr. Lawson Bryan, senior pastor, First UMC, Montgomery

Huntingdon College’s church connections are deep and strong, stretching all the way back to the College’s founding.

Huntingdon is a member of the Alabama-West Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church and is closely related to the North Alabama Conference. The bishops of each conference are members of the Huntingdon Board of Trustees.

Huntingdon Campus Ministries enriches the lives of Huntingdon students, intentionally focusing on growth in mind, heart, body, and spirit during their college years.

Beginning in summer 2015, Huntingdon’s Campus Ministries and the Department of Religion will work together to offer the Huntingdon Leadership Academy, a two-day retreat for high school juniors and seniors interested in ministry vocations and avocations.

Through the College’s Chapman Benson Lecture Series, a speaker of note explores topics of faith, ministry, religion, and church service.
