Orientation Leaders welcome members of the Class of 2016

Montgomery, Ala. — Huntingdon College Orientation Leaders welcomed nearly 170 members of the Class of 2016 and their families to campus during the first Summer Orientation session for the entering class, held last week.  Orientation Leaders, an arm of the Office of Student Life, are upper-level students who serve as mentors for new students and help them feel comfortable and acclimated in their new college home.  During Orientation, small group sessions conducted by the Orientation Leaders are interspersed among academic and student life informational meetings presented for students and parents by the Offices of Academic Affairs and Student Life.  The culmination of each Orientation session is registration for fall term classes, which is accomplished through personal advising by faculty advisers.
