Cavell Trio performs for Cheek Concert SeriesMontgomery, Ala.—The Huntingdon College Elizabeth Belcher Cheek
Concert Series will present a performance by the Cavell Trio, Sunday, October 7, at 3:00 p.m.
in the College's Ligon Chapel, Flowers Hall. The trio features oboe
player Shelly Megginson, clarinetist Osiris J. Molina and bassoonist
Jenny Mann, all of whom are faculty members at the University of Alabama
School of Music and active chamber musicians and chamber music
coaches. The concert is free and open to the public.
Formed
in 2007, the Cavell Trio has performed internationally at conferences
including the 2007 International Experiencing Villa-Lobos Conference,
the 2011 and 2012 International Double Reed Society Conferences and the
2012 International Clarinet Festival. A comprehensive performance

The Cheek Concert Series is endowed by Mr. Ben F. Cheek III and
his family in memory of his first wife, a Huntingdon alumna.
Huntingdon College, grounded in the Judeo-Christian tradition of
