Huntingdon Degree Completion Program Announces Fall 2008 Dean’s List

Montgomery, Ala.—At the end of each semester, the Huntingdon College Registrar's Office issues a list of students enrolled in the College's Adult Degree Completion Program (ADCP) who have achieved academic distinction in their course work during the semester and have earned inclusion on the Dean's List. To be named to the Dean's List, an ADCP student must have completed all course work for the semester, including at least three courses for which letter grades were issued, with an overall semester grade point average of 3.8 or higher.

Huntingdon ADCP offers accelerated bachelor's degree completion courses leading toward a degree in business in a one-night-a-week format, designed to fit easily into the busy schedules of working adults. ADCP students complete one or two classes at a time, with each class just five weeks in length. The program offers three five-week terms each semester. Classes are taught in eight locations throughout the state: at Huntingdon's campus in Montgomery; in Birmingham on the Center Point, Shelby, and Pell City campuses of Jefferson State Community College; in two locations in Baldwin County; in Enterprise at Enterprise-Ozark Community College; and in Brewton on the campus of Jefferson Davis Community College. Programs at locations other than Huntingdon's main campus require 30 transferable hours of college credit earned from regionally accredited institutions to be considered for admission.
