Huntingdon Students Inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa Honorary

Montgomery, Ala.—Huntingdon College inducted qualifying junior- and senior-level students into the national leadership honorary Omicron Delta Kappa last month. Omicron Delta Kappa recognizes achievement in scholarship, athletics, campus involvement, community service, religious activities, campus government, student media, and the creative and performing arts. The Huntingdon College Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa was formed April 18, 1989, one of more than 300 chapters in the United States.

The advisor for Omicron Delta Kappa honorary at Huntingdon College is Dr. Frank Buckner, professor of religion and philosophy. Huntingdon College, grounded in the Judeo-Christian tradition of the United Methodist Church, is committed to nurturing growth in faith, wisdom, and service, and to graduating individuals prepared to succeed in a rapidly changing world. Founded in 1854 in Tuskegee, Alabama, Huntingdon moved to Montgomery in 1909 and now celebrates its 100th year in the capital city.
