2012–2013 Huntingdon Plan Travel-Study

Five international travel opportunities are on the roster for the 2012–13 academic year. Huntingdon College Student Travel application forms are located outside Ms. Jane Williams' office (Wilson 115), available for students to pick up, complete, and be ready to turn in Saturday, April 21, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. in Wilson 111.

Students should complete BOTH the Huntingdon College Student Travel Application and a Huntingdon College Student Travel Terms and Conditions form. Please wait to sign the Terms and Conditions form in the presence of the travel coordinator.

Students who are unable to be present to submit their application forms Saturday, April 21, may bring the forms to the Office of Academic Affairs (Flowers Hall, Room 107) between 9:00 and 11:45 a.m. or 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. April 23–27.  Seniors have priority for spaces until a specified date; after that, available spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

For students who have used their Huntingdon Plan travel experience previously, or who would like to save their subsidized travel experience for next year, it is possible to travel and “Pay Out of Pocket,” (POP). POP enrollment is allowed on a space-available basis only.

In order to be eligible to travel, students must first pass the required travel seminar offered prior to the trip. Each seminar is worth two academic hours of graded credit (A, B, C, D, F). Each trip is worth an additional two academic credit hours of Pass-No Pass credit.
