Grade Advocacy Program (GAP)
The Grade Advocacy Program (GAP) assists students with improving their academic standing and transitioning into academic life by engaging them in the learning process. Students can access the services provided by the Staton Center and meet with an academic counselor to discuss academic practices and procedures in relation to their specific academic goals.
Participation in GAP is either automatic upon admission to the College or occurs after enrollment through either First Alert Referral by a member of faculty or when the student's academic performance at the close of a semester warrants Warning, Alert, or Probation status (see the College Catalog for more information).
