Academic Counseling

The GreenIndividual academic counseling is provided by Staton Center staff to help each student discern his or her vocational calling and the appropriate major to prepare for that calling; to assist students who are experiencing difficulty with the transition into college academic life; and to provide instruction on time management, accessing College resources, study skills techniques, and related matters. Scheduling choices, individual performance in class, Huntingdon’s Grade Advocacy Program (GAP), dropping/adding or repeating courses, and summer courses are other topics covered as part of supporting every student's pathway to success. Because these resources are vital to students who have not yet declared their majors, Staton Center director Dr. Chad Eggleston serves as the academic adviser to every undeclared student.

Stop by the Staton Center to talk with a staff member.  Find new resources that help you achieve your goal of graduation and academic success.
