Who Is Eligible?
The Adult Degree Completion Program is open to working adults, whether full-time
or part-time, who have earned a minimum of a 2.00 or higher GPA on all work attempted at the post-secondary
level and have accumulated at least 30–45 hours of transferable college credit.
Specifically:
- Students seeking admission to the Montgomery campus or through the Jefferson Davis Community College
partnership must have a minimum of 30 hours of transferable credit.
- Students seeking admission to sites in Bay Minette and Daphne must have a minimum of 45 hours of
transferable credit.
- Students seeking admission through the Enterprise-Ozark Community College or the Jefferson State Community
College partnerships must have a minimum of 30 hours of transferable credit or a completed Associate degree
from a regionally accredited institution.
Transferable college credit is defined as college level coursework from a regionally accredited institution
with a grade of “C” or higher. In addition, the coursework must be comparable in content to academic
credit offered at Huntingdon College. Up to 30 hours of credit earned by satisfactory scores on CLEP or AP
examinations may also be used for course credit.
A maximum of 59 credit hours may be earned through ADCP at the Bay Minette, Daphne, and Huntsville sites, as
well as at Jefferson Davis Community College. Only 59 credit hours earned at these locations will count toward
Huntingdon’s 120 hour graduation requirement.

How to Apply for Admission
- Submit the online application;
- Print the appropriate signature page and sign (see below);
- Mail the signature page to the appropriate campus;
- Request official copies of your transcripts be sent to your respective branch by printing, completing,
and mailing the appropriate transcript request form to each college you have attended.
