Laptop Description

Huntingdon provides a laptop computer for each freshman to use during all four years of study at the College. Upon graduation, the computer becomes the property of the student. On-campus warranty maintenance for the hardware and installed software is provided for the four year term of study. Each room on campus has a direct network connection for each student, providing 24-hour Internet and e-mail access. There are wireless hotspots in specific locations on campus. Local off-campus students have free local access to the Internet and e-mail through a dial-up connection. Low cost printing will be available in the PrintShop. Each student will be provided basic instruction in technology and technical assistance. Note: Computer specifications for transfers are determined on an annual basis.
