Saturday, September 25

10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.—Tailgating with Classmates
Come participate in one of the great experiences at Huntingdon: pregame tailgating!  We’ll be set up on the practice football field next to the concession stand and fire station with a large alumni tent with plenty of tables and chairs; the concession stand will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs, and other game day goodies; and large inflatables will help keep the little Hawks entertained.  Feel free to bring your own pop-up tent, your tailgate chairs, and your tailgate goodies and set up next to ours!  We’ll have a drop-off spot in front of the entrance to the tailgating area for you to unload your tailgating items should you bring any.

12:15 p.m.— The Hawk Walk
The alumni tailgating area will be a great spot to watch The Hawk Walk as the Huntingdon cheerleaders and the Scarlet and Grey Marching Band parade down Fairview Avenue to the stadium.

1:00 p.m.— Hawks Football vs Birmingham-Southern
For the first time in school history, Huntingdon will host rival Birmingham-Southern on the gridiron.  Help root on the Hawks to victory, and stick around at halftime for the crowning of the 2010 Homecoming Queen; Charles Lee Field, W. James Samford Jr. Stadium; tickets are $10 for an individual, or $20 for a family, and may be purchased at the gate.

4:00 p.m.— Fraternity and Sorority Chapter Room Open Houses

4:30 p.m.— Fundraiser for the Rannie McCall Endowed Scholarship Fund
Hosted by Wanda A. Howard ’81, join fellow alumni and the community in celebrating the life of Rannie McCall ’87 and learning about the Step Program he founded for at-risk youth; Seay Twins Art Gallery; open to the public.

8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.—The Inaugural Scarlet and Grey Ball
sponsored by the Office of College and Alumni Relations and hosted by members of the National Alumni Association, alumni and their spouses/dates are invited to come join us for a night of great music and a fun venue to reconnect with your Huntingdon friends.  It’s FREE.  We’ll have a cash bar and light refreshments. Entertainment will be provided by Kidd Blue (http://www.kiddblue.com), and the attire for the evening is casual; RSA Activity Center, 201 Dexter Avenue, Montgomery, Alabama; please RSVP to 334-833-4563 or alumni@huntingdon.edu
