Huntingdon Baseball Individual Camp

Dates: May 27-29
Location: Posey Field on Huntingdon’s Campus
Ages: 5-15
Time: 8 a.m. to Noon
Fee: $120.00

The Huntingdon Baseball Summer Camp will be held from May 27-29, at Posey Field on Huntingdon’s campus. The camp is designed to incorporate all fundamentals of the game of baseball, highlighted by pitching, hitting and base running drills and instructions. The camp is open to children ages 5-15 and will be held from 8 a.m. to noon each day. Included in the registration fee is a camp T-shirt for each camper.

Huntingdon College Youth Football Camp

Dates: June 2-5
Location: W. James Samford Jr. Stadium on Huntingdon’s Campus
Ages: 6-12
Time: 8 a.m. to Noon
Fee: $100.00

The Huntingdon Youth Football Camp, open to kids ages 6-12, is designed to be both instructive and intense. Each camper will receive individual instruction to increase basic football skills, in a “non-contact” setting. Participants will be placed in practice groups according to age, skill level, and size. During the four-day session campers will receive instruction in both offensive and defensive aspects of the game. Daily schedules will include two morning sessions with a snack break. Football skills and team competitions will allow participants to display their individual talents while participating in a group setting. Included in the registration fee is a camp T-shirt and a daily snack.

Huntingdon Men’s Basketball Individual Camp

Dates: June 23-26 and July 16-19
Location: Catherine Dixon Roland Arena on Huntingdon’s Campus
Ages: 6-17
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Fee: $170.00 (siblings are $150.00 each)

The Huntingdon Men’s Basketball team will offer two individual camps during the summer for children ages 6-17. The camp will feature instruction from Huntingdon’s coaching staff and is designed to improve all aspects of the game, including shooting, ball handling and dribbling and passing and receiving. Instruction on proper warm-up and stretching techniques will also be provided. The camp will also feature individual and team competitions and 5-on-5 competition, all while focusing on the fun and fundamentals of basketball. In addition to an improved knowledge of the game, each camper will receive a camp T-shirt and customized basketball.
