Day Two of GSAC Baseball Tournament Rained Out

DEMOREST, Ga.—Due to heavy rainfall in the Demorest area, day two of the Great South Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament has been rained out.

The tournament will now be pushed back a day and maintain a similar schedule to the originally slated game times.

Sunday's first game, which will be played at 11 a.m., will feature No. 1 seed LaGrange against No. 3 seed Maryville, which each won its opening round game on Friday. Game two will be an elimination game between No. 2 seed Piedmont and No. 4 seed Huntingdon at 3 p.m., while the winner of that game will take on the loser of the first game at 7 p.m.

The winner of the opening game on Sunday will advance to the GSAC Tournament Championship Game, scheduled for 1 p.m.
