Volleyball Wins in Three Sets over Judson

MARION, Ala. ---- The Huntingdon volleyball team picks up win number eight on the road against Judson in three straight sets on Thursday evening, (25-14, 25-17, 25-18).

Senior Clare Shannon led the Lady Hawks with 10 kills, while freshman Kelly Kahumoku added 8. Junior Alyssa Eason paced the squad with 27 assists.

Defensively, senior Krissie Jones led the team with 10 digs, while both junior Alyssa Eason and senior Clare Shannon added 7 digs in the contest. Shannon recorded two solo blocks and four assisted blocks, with freshman Abby Brown posting one solo block and four assisted blocks.

Junior Abby Carter paced the team with 6 service aces, while freshman Abby Brown added 5 in the match.

Huntingdon (8-11) travels to Macon, Ga. for a GSAC tri-match on Saturday, Oct. 2nd. The Lady Hawks open the day first against Salem at 2 p.m. and then Wesleyan at 4 p.m.
