Volleyball Drops Three Sets at Home to Spring Hill

MONTGOMERY, Ala. ---- The Huntingdon volleyball team fell in three straight sets to Spring Hill on Tuesday evening, (15-25, 13-25, 21-25).

Freshman Kelly Kahumoku led the team with 10 kills, while senior Clare Shannon added 9 in the match. Junior Alyssa Eason paced the squad with 19 assists, while sophomore Bianca Hulsey added 7.

Defensively, senior Clare Shannon led the Lady Hawks with 8 digs, while senior Krissie Jones added 7 in the contest. Junior Abby Carter recorded one solo block against the Lady Badgers.

Senior Clare Shannon paced the Lady Hawks with one service ace in the match.

Huntingdon (11-12) will travel to Decatur, Ga. on Saturday, Oct. 16, for the GSAC Tri-match. The Lady Hawks will open the day against Agnes Scott at 11 a.m., before taking on Maryville at 1 p.m.
