Lady Hawks in Third Place after Round One of the University of Mobile Fall Invitational

MOBILE, Ala. ---- The Huntingdon women's golf team finished the opening round of the University of Mobile Fall Invitational with a 73-over par 361, at the Heron Lakes Golf Course. The Lady Hawks trail host University of Mobile and Thomas University with scores of 46-over par 334 and 48-over 336, respectively.

Saem Hur leads the Lady Hawks with a first-round 14-over 86, while Ali Hamil posted a 16-over 88. Alex Foster carded a 21-over 93, Kaitlin Rozof followed with a 22-over 94, while Meg McGuire finished at 26-over 98.

“The weather may have caused higher scoring today, but I'm happy with the way we fought through the round,” said head coach Matt Mahanic.

William Carey finished the day behind the Lady Hawks in fourth with a 98-over 386, while Thomas University's Jessica Macphee led all individuals after a 5-over 77.

Huntingdon will compete in the final round of the University of Mobile Fall Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Heron Lakes Golf Course.
