Huntingdon Set to Host GSAC Men's and Women's Basketball Championships

MONTGOMERY, Ala. --- Huntingdon College will host the 2011 Great South Athletic Conference championships this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 25-26, in Roland Arena. Huntingdon's men's team is set to play Piedmont College on Friday, Feb. 25, at 7:30 p.m.


The semifinal games and the championship games will be played at Roland Arena located on the campus of Huntingdon College. The men's and women's tournament schedules are listed below with ticket information.


GSAC Men's Basketball Tournament Championship Schedule

Friday, February 25
Semifinal #1 @ 3:00 PM - #1 Maryville College vs. #4 LaGrange College
Semifinal #2 @ 7:30 PM - #2 Piedmont College vs. #3 Huntingdon College

Saturday, February 26
Championship @ 3:00 PM - Semifinal #1 Winner vs. Semifinal #2 Winner


GSAC Women's Basketball Tournament Championship Schedule

Friday, February 25
Semifinal #1 @ 1:00 PM - #1 Maryville College vs. #4 Agnes Scott College

Ticket Prices
$10 – Adult General Admission Day Pass

$5 – Children 6-12 (Also a Single Day Pass)
Children 5 & Under/Students with a valid ID admitted free of charge
$20 – Tournament Pass (Includes Two Day Admission & Tournament Media Guide


Conference Awards Ceremony
The conference awards for both men and women will be announced by Commissioner Phil Williamson, immediately following the men’s first semifinal game.
