Women's Golf in 10th Place at the Ann Rhoads Invitational

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The Huntingdon College women's golf team finished in 10th place after the first day of the Ann Rhoads Invitational hosted by Birmingham-Southern College at The Robert Trent Jones Trail at Oxmoor Valley.

Butler University finished the day in the lead with a combined score of 328 followed by the University of West Florida with a 329, while the University of Montevallo landed in the third spot carding a 335. The University of Indianapolis finished day one in fourth with a 339, while three teams sit tied for fifth with 344.

The Lady Hawks shot 381 in the opening round finishing at the bottom of the scoreboard. Saem Hur led the team with a 11-over, 83, tied in 11th place while Alex Foster shot a 95.

Ali Hamil and Meg McGuire carded a 100 and 103, respectively. Kaitlin Rozof rounded out the scoring for the Lady Hawks with a 105.

Montevallo's Emily Gibson carded the best round on day one shooting a 1-over par, 73.

The Lady Hawks take the course Monday, Feb. 28, for the final round of the Ann Rhoads Invitational in Birmingham, Ala.
