MONTGOMERY, Ala. --- Huntingdon College's women's tennis team lost 6-3 against Berry College at Huntingdon's tennis courts on Sunday afternoon.
The Lady Hawks fell behind 2-1 after dropping two doubles matches. Kati Bryant and Kristin McDaniel picked up Huntingdon's first point after winning 8-4 in their doubles match against the Vikings.
Berry pulled out the victory by taking four of the six singles matches against the Lady Hawks. Katie Scott and Bryant were Huntingdon's only two singles points. Individually, Bryant enjoyed a successful day winning in both her doubles and singles matches against the Vikings.
The Lady Hawks (1-1) travel to Sewanee, Tenn. on Saturday, Mar. 5, taking on the University of the South and Rhodes College beginning at 8:30 a.m. For more information on Huntingdon athletics, visit www.HuntingdonHawks.com.
