MARYVILLE, Tenn. --- Huntingdon
College's men's tennis team beat up on the defending Great South
Athletic Conference champion Maryville College, 8-1, in Maryville,
Tenn. on Saturday afternoon.
The Hawks picked up the first three
points by sweeping doubles, 3-0, in the conference opener. Maryville
(0-2) held off a complete sweep when Christian Lockhart defeated
Huntingdon's Larry Pritchett in three sets at the No. 4 singles spot.
Besides Prichett's loss, the Hawks took the remaining singles matches
with ease over the Scots for their third win of the season.
