ATLANTA,
Ga. --- Huntingdon College's women's tennis team beat Spelman
College, 6-3, for their first Great South Athletic Conference victory
on Friday afternoon in Atlanta. The Lady Hawks recorded their 31st
consecutive regular season conference win against the Jaguars.
Spelman
(2-2, 0-1 GSAC) held a 2-1 lead after picking up two doubles matches.
The Jaguars' only singles win came in the No. 6 spot with Alana
McKinney defeating Kati Bryant, 6-4, 7-5. The Lady Hawks secured
their third victory, 6-3, of the season after winning the remaining
five singles matches.
