Lady Hawks Place 17th at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. --- Huntingdon College's women's golf team finished the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate in 17^th place with a three day total of 1,100. The Lady Hawks shot a 372 final round score on Sunday afternoon.

The Lady Hawks were led by Saem Hur after firing a team-best 11-over par, 83, for a tournament total of 254 tied for 34^th place. Kaitlin Rozof's 20-over par, 92, landed her tied for 80^th place with a 277.

Alex Foster carded a 25-over, 97, in the final round finishing with a 288 total tied for 95^th. The Lady Hawks' Meg McGuire shot a 28-over par, 100, with a 298 total, while Ali Hamil did not finish the final round for a score on Sunday.

Methodist University finished first place after shooting a tournament-best 311 for a three day total of 951. Birmingham-Southern College carded a second place 974 followed by Centre College's 977. Texas at Tyler and Illinois Wesleyan rounded out the top-5 shooting 981 and 983, respectively.

Methodist's Kelsie Carralero won the individual championship with a tournament total 13-over, 229.

The Lady Hawks return to the course on Monday, Mar. 28, for the first round of the Piedmont Spring Invitational at the Orchards Golf Club in Demorest, Ga.
