League Members LaGrange And Huntingdon Split Weekly Women's Tennis Awards

LaGrange, GA -- The Great South Athletic Conference has awarded its Player of the Week honors for the week ending March 20 with Caroline Brashier (LaGrange), Katie Scott (Huntingdon), and Kristin McDaniel (Huntingdon) all earning honors.  Brashier was named the league's Singles Player of the Week while the pair of Scott and McDaniel took home the conference Doubles Players of the Week honors.

Brashier was the top singles performer for the Panthers going 4-0 at the #1 sinlges slot with a trio of conference victories to her name over Piedmont, Maryville, and Salem.  The pair of Scott and McDaniel were the Doubles Players of the Week after going 2-0 at the #1 doubles spot with both victories coming in conference play over Spelman and Wesleyan.
