CLARKESVILLE, Ga.
--- Huntingdon College's women's golf team finished the Piedmont
Spring Invitational in 6th place after shooting a two day
total of 732. Sophomore Saem Hur's 166 total placed her in the top-10
individual's tied for ninth.
The Lady Hawks
improved by eight-strokes in the final round of the tournament
shooting a 362 team total in 6th place. Methodist
University won the tournament by 28-strokes with a 632 total. The
Monarchs' Paige Caldwell took home the individual crown following a
tournament low total of 154.
Huntingdon's Hur
shot a nine-over par, 81, in the final round for the 9th
place 166 total leading the Lady Hawks. Ali Hamil carded a 14-over
par, 86, finishing 20th overall with a 176 total. Alex
Foster shot a 24-over par for the second consecutive day placing in
34th place and a tournament total of 192.
Meg McGuire and
Kaitlin Rozof rounding out the scoring for the Lady Hawks with two
day totals of 198 and 202, respectively. McGuire finished tied for
39th while Rozof landed in 42nd place.
The Lady Hawks
return to action on Monday, Apr. 4, in the first round of the Reeder
Cup hosted by Covenant College at the Lookout Mountain Golf Course in
Lookout Mountain, Ga.
