Chase Blaich Of Huntingdon Named GSAC Men's Golfer Of The Week

LaGrange, GA -- The Great South Athletic Conference has named its Men's Golfer of the Week for the week ending April 3 with senior Chase Blaich of Huntingdon College taking home the honor.  Blaich becomes the first Hawk to win the award this season after helping the nation's second ranked team to a first place finish at the Piedmont College Spring Invitational this past week.

Blaich claimed the individual crown at the spring tourney shooting a two under par 70 in the opening round followed by a five under 67 to secure the individual victory by nine strokes.  The Hawk also set a new tournament record with an individual low 36, 137, at the invitational event.
