J.D. Jean '12
Hometown: Warner Robins, Georgia
Career Goal: Be a C.P.A.
A member of the Huntingdon Hawks soccer team, the Student Athletic Advisory Council, the Campus Ministries/Community Service Committee, a fraternity, and an orientation leader, J.D. stays busy on the field, in the classroom, and in student life just about all the time, and that's fine with him. "Since coming to Huntingdon, I've had to learn about time management—to use the time I have here while I have it," he says. "Huntingdon has done a lot for me in the past few years, so I do everything I can to give back to Huntingdon. I am involved in as many activities as possible in order to give more people the opportunity to experience Huntingdon.
"I like the small school feel. I have been to another larger school and know what it means to feel like 'just a number,' not only in the classroom, but also on the campus. At Huntingdon, you don't blend into the crowd. There are people here who care about your education and about what you do after Huntingdon.
"I chose Huntingdon because of the feeling I got when I first visited. I could just see myself here. Now can't picture myself anywhere else."
