What to Bring to Orientation

Getting Ready

2017 OLsWe can’t wait to welcome you to Huntingdon! Here’s what you should bring in order to be well-prepared and ready for the program:

  • be sure you have submitted these Enrollment Forms online at least one week prior to your orientation session
  • pertinent enrollment paperwork (particularly for financial aid, health forms, etc.)
  • proof of immunization
  • government-issued photo identification
  • valid driver’s license
  • sleeping bag or extra-long twin sheets
  • pillow
  • toiletries
  • towel
  • shower shoes
  • comfortable walking shoes
  • comfortable clothes and PJs
  • a flashlight

At New Student Orientation, you will:

  • meet and connect with other incoming students
  • meet and connect with Orientation Leaders
  • attend small group sessions where students will get to know other new students and be able to ask questions
  • tour the campus
  • meet professors from your intended program(s) of study
  • attend an Organization Fair
  • meet with personnel from Financial Aid, Student Affairs, Residence Life, the Registrar’s Office, Campus Security, the Staton Center, and more!
  • learn about special responsibilities for student-athletes
  • experience a college social gathering
  • spend the night on campus
  • attend a Campus Ministries worship service
