Fletcher Graduates from Huntingdon College

Montgomery, Ala.—Tyler Maxwell Fletcher of Lawrenceville, Georgia, completed his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in political science and accepted his diploma during Huntingdon College’s annual commencement ceremony.

While attending Huntingdon, Fletcher was a member of the academic honoraries Phi Eta Sigma, Sigma Sigma Sigma, and Omicron Delta Kappa. He also played tight end for the Huntingdon Hawks football team. In recognition of his academic achievement, he won the political science and public affairs awards for excellence during his senior year.

Experiential learning and service are hallmarks of the Huntingdon tradition. Fletcher completed a travel/study program with Huntingdon faculty and students in London in 2006. He also participated in student/faculty research with Dr. Jeremy Lewis, professor of political science, concerning privacy issues in the Bush administration.

The son of Debbie and Bob Fletcher of Lawrenceville, Fletcher is a 2003 graduate of Greater Atlanta Christian High School. He plans to obtain his Master of Business Administration degree and to work with a development firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
