Materials Required for Admission
High school students applying for first-time admission should submit:
- Application for Admission (including the signature page)
- Official high school transcript or GED results
- SAT and/or ACT scores
- non-refundable $20 application fee
Transfer students should submit:
- Application for Admission (including the signature page)
- Official final high school transcript with graduation date or GED results
- SAT and/or ACT scores
- Official transcripts from each institution attended (even if courses were not completed)
- non-refundable $20 application fee
Applicants for readmission should submit:
- Application for Admission (including the signature page)
- Official transcripts from each institution attended since leaving Huntingdon
- non-refundable $20 application fee
Huntingdon Horizons
Huntingdon Horizons is a program designed for returning learners, aged 23 and older, who seek admission to the full-time day program at Huntingdon College. In addition to submitting the materials listed below, applicants should schedule an appointment with the Office of Admissions for a personal interview. Note: Students admitted through Huntingdon Horizons may not participate in athletics.
Horizons applicants should submit:
- Application for Admission (including the signature page)
- Official final high school transcript with graduation date or GED results and college transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation from former teachers, guidance counselors, or other individuals who can attest to your academic ability, character, and motivation
- non-refundable $20 application fee
- A personal statement
Admission Decisions
Notification of the decision of admission will be mailed within two weeks of the receipt of all required documents. In some cases, the Committee on Academic Standing may request additional information from the applicant before a decision can be reached.

Note: If you are a high school student, transfer student, Horizon student, or a student applying for readmission, you should complete the general application for admission and submit the signature page along with the $20 application fee to the Office of Admissions. Note: If you are not a citizen of the United States, you must fill out the international student application for admission (PDF), submit the $20 application fee to the Office of Admissions, and refer to the International Students section of the Admissions website for additional information.
