Kappa Alpha Psi

Kappa Alpha Psi 2013Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity was founded on the campus of Indiana University, January 5, 1911, with the motto, “Achievement in every field of human endeavor.” The fraternity came to Huntingdon College in the fall of 2007. Its founders sought a formula that would immediately raise the sights of black collegians and stimulate them to accomplishments higher than they might have imagined. Fashioning achievement in its purpose, Kappa Alpha Psi began uniting college men of culture, patriotism, and honor in a bond of fraternity. The organization has high expectations of its members with regard to maturity and dedication. Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Kappa Alpha Psi, Inc., and was formed in 1981 to assist the community service efforts of the more than 600 active undergraduate and alumni chapters of Kappa Alpha Psi.
