The fraternities and sororities on our campus provide one of many opportunities for students to get involved at Huntingdon.  The information below hopefully will give you a snap shot of our Greek organizations and their place on our campus.  

National Greek Organizations at Huntingdon College (23% of campus is Greek) 

 

Academic Standing

Greek GPA Fall 2011 – 3.02 

Greek GPA Spring 2011 – 3.195 

Greek GPA Fall 2010 – 3.151 

**The Greek GPA is above the all campus average (15 semesters in a row!).** 

 

Community Service

Greek organizations contributed 11,720 hours of community service in 2010/2011. 

Greek organizations raised $21,676 for 12 various charities in 2010/2011. 

 

Campus Leadership

Greek organizations have leaders in SGA, Campus Ministries, Varsity Athletics, Campus Activities Board, Residence Life staff, Orientation Leaders, and Huntingdon Hosts. 

Spiritual Growth

Greek organizations host their own Bible studies as well as participate in various opportunities provided by Campus Ministries.  Fraternity and sorority members actively participate in local churches including Frazier Methodist, First United Methodist, First Baptists, Trinity Presbyterian and Saint James.
