New Student Orientation Session II rocks the stage

New Student Orientation, Session II, took place July 25–26, with nearly 150 members of the Class of 2017 and transfer students—as well as their family members—in attendance.

Four members of the Huntingdon College community attended the annual meeting of the National Exchange Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, July 10–13.

Huntingdon students, staff build a rainbow

About 70 students and staff armed themselves with the Huntingdon spirit and cleared mountains of limbs and tree trunks from the Huntingdon College Green this morning as the campus recovered from a storm that hit the Cloverdale area especially hard last night.

The Huntingdon College Office of the Registrar has issued the lists of full-time day students whose academic performance during the spring semester 2013 qualified for recognition on the College’s Dean’s List of Honors or Dean’s List of High Honors.

The sound of silence?

Although full-time day students are gone for the summer, the Huntingdon College campus has been anything but silent this summer as various groups have been on campus to bat, joust, pitch, pluck, slam, honk, bang, beat, sing, strum, laugh, clap, and blow their way into Montgomery’s hottest months.

Huntingdon names honors program for Joyce and Truman Hobbs

During a special gala event held last month at the Montgomery Country Club, Judge Truman Hobbs Sr., Article III federal judge for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, retired, and his wife, Joyce, were celebrated as the namesakes for the College’s newly christened Joyce and Truman Hobbs Honors Program.
