Hawks return from Trinidad

Was it Trinidad, or was it paradise? Huntingdon Plan travelers just returned from a week in the Caribbean island Trinidad and Tobago, where they hiked through mountains and nature preserves, jumped from cliffs, and swam in tranquil waters, observing the flora and fauna of the island.

Hawks fly through Germany

A Huntingdon Plan travel/study group of students and faculty spent a week in Germany in May, visiting various Germany points of interest. The trip was led by Dr. Maureen Kendrick Murphy ’78, professor of chemistry, and Dr. Frank Buckner, professor of religion.

Hawks return from Paris

Huntingdon College students, staff and faculty traveled to Paris for a week in May, a Huntingdon Plan travel/study experience. Groups visited the Louvre, Normandy, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and other hot spots after learning some of the highlights of French history. The trip was led by Madame Camille Elebash-Hill, adjunct assistant professor of French.

The Class of 2014 commences with life

Members of the Class of 2014 traditional day and Adult Degree Completion programs accepted their diplomas during separate ceremonies on a perfect spring day, Saturday, May 17. Read more about the ceremonies here; see photos on the Huntingdon College Facebook page.

Huntingdon prepares for 2014 Baccalaureate and Commencement Exercises

“Pomp and Circumstance” will lead the combined 237 members of the Huntingdon College Class of 2014 to Top Stage on the Huntingdon Green to collect their diplomas during 2014 Commencement Exercises, Saturday, May 17. Students in the traditional day program will graduate at 9:00 a.m. and Adult Degree Completion Program students will graduate at 6:00 p.m.

Huntingdon honors student-athletes and coaches with year-end awards

The Huntingdon College athletic department recently held its annual Awards Banquet to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes that helped make this another successful year.

Six Huntingdon football players selected to NFF Hampshire Honor Society

Huntingdon’s 2014 selections are running back Garrett Fletcher, defensive back Dakota Hooper, long snapper Cameron Lewis, receiver Tyler Robinson, quarterback Ryne Taylor and defensive back Ryan White.
