Huntingdon College announced today the formation of a summer Huntingdon Health Sciences Academy (HHSA) for rising high school seniors, to be held June 7–9, 2017.
Huntingdon College President J. Cameron West announced today that political commentator and pollster Kristen Soltis Anderson will offer the Commencement Address at the College’s 2017 Commencement Exercises for traditional day students, Saturday, May 6, at 9:00 a.m. on the College Green.
Huntingdon College President J. Cameron West announced today the formation of a summer seminar/awareness program focused on economic and community development for rising high school seniors. The Huntingdon College Economic and Community Development Scholars Program, planned in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama, the Economic Development Association of Alabama, and the Alabama Department of Commerce, introduces young citizens who are poised to begin their professional journeys to the importance of economic and community development.
The Huntingdon College Office of the Registrar has issued the lists of full-time day students whose academic performance during the fall semester 2016 qualified for recognition on the College’s Dean’s List of Honors or Dean’s List of High Honors.
At the end of each semester, the Huntingdon College Registrar’s Office issues a list of students enrolled in the College’s Evening Bachelor’s Degree program who have achieved academic distinction in their coursework during the semester and have earned inclusion on the program’s Dean’s List of Honors.
The Huntingdon College community will celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 16, with a Day of Service in memory of Dr. King’s life and legacy. In partnership with the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), Huntingdon students will prepare Homeless Kits and Health Kits for distribution in the area and in areas of disaster or great need.

Huntingdon College is accepting registrations for the 2017 Huntingdon Leadership Academy, established in 2015 to assist high school juniors and seniors in discerning God’s call on their lives. Supported by a gift from the Lilly Endowment, Inc., the 2017 Academy has been expanded to six days and five nights, June 25–30.
