Track Programs

Huntingdon offers professional track programs in dentistry, law, medicine, optometry, pharmacy, physical therapy, and veterinary medicine. These programs offer a number of advantages as you prepare for further study:
- Pre-professional advising in addition to the adviser for your academic major.
- Coursework designed to meet entrance requirements for graduate or professional programs.
- In some cases, professional testing prep training.
- Advisement toward meeting professional program requirements outside of planned coursework, such as shadowing, internship, and service work.
Students who are preparing for health-related careers should seek the advice of the Pre-Health Professions Committee. The committee advises, tutors, administers practice exams, and writes letters of recommendation for students seeking careers in health-related occupations.
Huntingdon’s Chemistry program offers two week-long Chemistry Boot Camps each year for students who are preparing to take the MCAT, DAT, GRE, and other graduate entrance exams. The Pre-Health Club and Future Physicians Club are other venues for connecting students who share professional interests and for providing guidance toward realizing their professional goals.
