Huntingdon’s Educator Preparation programs are accredited by the Alabama State Department of Education. The Music program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM). The Biochemistry program is accredited by the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB).
Huntingdon College also holds membership in the National Association of Schools and Colleges of the United Methodist Church, the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, the Council of Independent Colleges Tuition Exchange, The Tuition Exchange Incorporated, the Marine Environmental Sciences Consortium, the Montgomery Higher Education Consortium, and has membership in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Division III.
Huntingdon’s athletic conference is USA South.
Huntingdon students may participate in the Marine Environmental Sciences Consortium located on Dauphin Island, Alabama. Specific courses available are listed under the marine science disciplinary courses in the Huntingdon College Catalog. A minor in marine science is available through this program.
