Bria Rochelle Crowned Homecoming Queen

Huntingdon College senior Bria Rochelle of Mobile, Alabama, was announced as the 2017 Homecoming Queen during halftime of the College's Homecoming football game Saturday, October 7. Rochelle was unable to attend the court presentation because of her commitment to the volleyball team, which had a match out of state. Sixteen women, elected by their peers, were presented as members of the Homecoming Court, including four from each of the freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior classes.

Conely performs Majestic Organ recital

Huntingdon College adjunct instructor of piano and organ Dr. James Conely will perform for the Harald Rohlig Organ Recital Series, Tuesday, September 19. "Majestic Organ," featuring compositions by Claude Murphree, Felix Mendelssohn, Albert Alain, Camille Saint-Saens, and Noel Goemanne, will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the College's Ligon Chapel, Flowers Hall. The program is free and open to the public and should conclude by 7:45 p.m.
