community service photoA commitment to public service is an integral part of a Huntingdon College education. Inspired by Huntingdon’s motto, “Enter to Grow in Wisdom; Go Forth to Apply Wisdom in Service,” all Hawks are encouraged toward civic engagement.

Go and Serve

At Huntingdon College, community service is more than a place to go and work: it is an opportunity to have an impact on people’s lives, on the community, and on yourself. The Coordinator of Community Service offers numerous opportunities throughout the year for students, faculty, and staff to volunteer with community organizations focused on education, justice, poverty, need-based (food, clothing, and housing) issues, and other concerns. Through service, Huntingdon community members learn the lifelong endeavor of assisting others.

Remember, whenever you serve, DOCUMENT YOUR HOURS.
