Huntingdon classes canceled Wednesday, April 5
Montgomery, Ala.—Huntingdon College has canceled classes and offices will be closed Wednesday, April 5, because of the threat of storms in the area. The College will resume normal operating hours Thursday, April 6.
The following email was issued:
Dear Members of the Huntingdon College Community:
Due to the threat of severe weather tomorrow and the Governor’s declaration of a State of Emergency, all operations of the College will be cancelled Wednesday, April 5. All classes are cancelled and college offices will be closed Wednesday. We will resume classes and have normal business hours on Thursday, April 6.
We encourage students, faculty and staff to closely monitor the weather. Residence halls will have safe places for students to gather in the event of severe weather. If you are a commuter student and need a safe place to stay during severe weather, Flowers Hall will be open to provide a safe shelter for you. Campus security will be available 24 hours. The dining hall will have normal operating hours on Wednesday, pending electricity.

- Campus Dining Services in Russell Dining Hall will operate as normal.
