Biography

Prior to joining the Huntingdon Bands program in 2021, Mr. Marlow served as band director for Walter T. McKee Middle School for three years and as assistant band director at Jefferson Davis High School for 14 years. He directed the band program at Georgia Washington Middle School from 2013 to 2018. He was selected as Teacher of the Year at Georgia Washington Middle School in 2014 and 2015; recognized with the State of Alabama Golden Apple Award in 2017; and was named Teacher of the Month at McKee in December 2019. At Alabama State University, Mr. Marlow played with the Mighty Marching Hornets marching band, the percussion ensemble, and the trumpet ensemble. He has arranged music for several band programs.
