Staff Performance Evaluations are completed on an annual basis.

The purpose of the performance evaluation is to:

1. Inform the employee of their strengths and weaknesses, as well as provide them with clear directives to resolve deficiencies.

2. Provide opportunities for supervisors to clarify detailed reviews of previous performance, along with mentorship for future development.

3. Increase the effectiveness of the staff member, department, and the college itself.

4. As additional information that could be used in promotion, transfer, and raise decisions.

The evaluation process will begin April 15 and must be completed by June 1, in reference to the previous fiscal year. This evaluation window will include a meeting with the supervisor and the subordinate employee. All performance appraisals will be submitted to the Associate VP of Human Resources, and will be placed in the applicable employees HR file.
