Huntingdon again named a Best Value
Montgomery, Ala.—Huntingdon College is ranked among the top regional colleges in the South and is once again named a “Best Value” among regional colleges in the 2018 U.S. New and World Report “Best Colleges” edition, released today. Huntingdon sits in the number eight position among Best Value schools in the South, climbing from the number 10 spot in last year’s ranking.
“Although it’s nice to to be recognized for providing a strong educational experience for our students—and especially for providing affordable, quality higher education—we have never operated with an eye toward rankings,” said Huntingdon President J. Cameron West. “Our focus, always, is on helping students to find what they are called to do, and to discover their own talents, skills, and drive to be successful in that calling.”
Huntingdon, recognized by the Chronicle of Higher Education as one of America’s fastest growing colleges in 2014, graduated its largest class in history in May.
Grounded in the Judeo-Christian tradition of the United Methodist Church, Huntingdon is committed to nurturing growth in faith, wisdom, and service and to graduating individuals prepared to succeed in a rapidly changing world. The College motto is “Enter to grow in wisdom; go forth to apply wisdom in service.”
