Huntingdon Bands present concert
Montgomery, Ala.—Huntingdon College’s Huntingdon Winds Concert Band and Marching Scarlet & Grey Visual Ensemble will present their “Salute to Our Veterans” concert Wednesday, November 11, at 7:30 p.m. in Roland Student Center’s Roland Arena on the Huntingdon College Campus. The concert will highlight music associated with America and our Armed Forces. The Marching Scarlet & Grey Visual Ensemble will be featured during the playing of The Homefront: Musical Memories from World War II. The concert will conclude by recognizing those serving currently in the Armed Forces, veterans of the Armed Forces, and their family members. Director of bands Dr. Rusty Logan states: “It is with great pleasure that we present our fall concert to honor those who have served or are serving in the Armed Forces. There is no better time to present a concert honoring these men and women than on November 11, Veterans Day.”
The concert is free and open to members of the Huntingdon community. Those in attendance must observe social distancing and COVID-19 protocols.
Huntingdon College is a coeducational residential liberal arts college of the United Methodist Church.
