Huntingdon Honor Society Inductions Recognized at Awards Convocation

Montgomery, AL – On Friday, April 24, Huntingdon College held the annual Awards Convocation in Ligon Chapel. Below is a list of the Honor Societies and the inducted students announced at the ceremony.

Beta Beta Beta

Beta Beta Beta is a national biological honorary society, installed at Huntingdon College in 1946. The membership consists of third- and fourth-year students who have demonstrated active interest in biology and have taken at least three biology courses, earning an average grade of B or better. The national honor society for psychology, Psi Chi was founded in 1929 for the purposes of stimulating and maintaining excellence in scholarship and advancing the science of psychology. The following students were inducted this year:

Sigma Beta Delta is an honor society for business, management, and administration, serving higher education institutions that offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in business, management, and administration. To be eligible for membership, a student must rank in the upper 20 percent of the junior or senior class and be invited to membership by faculty members. Huntingdon’s chapter was founded in 1994.
