Huntingdon hosts Marching Honor Band
Montgomery, Ala.—The Huntingdon College Marching Scarlet and Grey marching band will host its annual Marching Honor Band, Saturday, September 16. More than 250 high school marching band students, including Color Guard and majorettes, have been accepted to participate. The high school students will march with the Marching Scarlet and Grey during the traditional “Hawk Walk” from Flowers Hall on the main campus to W. James Samford Jr. Stadium on the Cloverdale Campus at 12:30 p.m. Honor Band members will perform with the Marching Scarlet and Grey at halftime of the Huntingdon Hawks football home game versus North Carolina Wesleyan. Kick-off is at 1:00 p.m.
Game tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at the stadium entrance. Admission is free for Huntingdon students, faculty, and staff, and for visitors ages 5 and under; $5 for visitors ages 6–12. Gates will be open two hours prior to kick-off. Concessions are available.
