Huntingdon Introduces the Scarlettes

Montgomery, Ala.—Huntingdon College will introduce a new dance team in the fall of 2022. The Huntingdon Hawks Scarlettes will perform during Hawks men’s and women’s conference basketball games and for other special events.

Candace Carnegie, an admission counselor who graduated with the Huntingdon College Class of 2021, will coach the team. “I am very excited to have been asked to lead the new dance team at Huntingdon College,” said Ms. Carnegie. “The Huntingdon Hawks Scarlettes is a dance team that promotes school spirit on campus and throughout the Montgomery community.  Our team is built on the foundation of helping students thrive in their talent for dance and grow in their overall college experience.”

Huntingdon College is a coeducational residential liberal arts college of the United Methodist Church offering more than thirty undergraduate programs of study and 21 NCAA-Division III athletic teams.
