Huntingdon Choir Sings at Spivey Hall while on Tour

Montgomery, Ala.—The Huntingdon College Concert Choir will travel to Opelika, Alabama, and Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia, next week on a concert tour with appearances at venues in each city. The tour will include a performance at the renowned Spivey Hall, part of the Young People’s Concert Series. Following are the choir’s scheduled performances:

Sunday, March 1, Opelika, Alabama

  • Opelika United Methodist Church,11:00 a.m.

Monday, March 2, Savannah, Georgia

  • Islands High School, 11:00 a.m.
  • Savannah Arts Academy, 1:10 p.m.

Tuesday, March 3, Atlanta, Georgia

  • Campbell High School, 9:00 a.m.
  • Milton High School, 1:30 p.m.
  • Georgia Institute of Technology, 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday, March 4, Atlanta, Georgia

  • Spivey Hall at Clayton State University, 11:15 a.m.

Earlier this spring, the choir presented concerts for Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Montgomery and for the Alabama Music Educators Association State Conference, also held in Montgomery. The Huntingdon Concert Choir’s annual spring concert on campus will be held Tuesday, April 14, in Ligon Chapel, Flowers Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
